Garage

The 'garage' in Zwift is where all your virtual equipment resides. The garage is also the current location for customizing your avatar. The garage houses virtual items such as: Bikes, Wheels, Headgear, Glasses, Jerseys, Gloves, Socks, Shoes and Avatar Customization. Zwift will start you out with some basic items to get you started. As you ride more, you will earn drops with which you can buy better frames and wheels. Any items you earn or are rewarded with during in-game rides and events will show up in your garage in their appropriate category.

You can access your garage in two ways. First, from the home screen before goin in-game, select the garage icon in the upper right. This will open access to both 'My Garage' and to the drop shop. The second method to access your garage while in-game, is to right click on the game play screen to bring up the 'menu' button. Clicking the menu button will open the 'Paused' window. The garage button is located on the right side of the window.

Once you're in your garage, select a category to select an item to outfit your avatar. At this time, only frames and wheels can be purchased using drops you earn while riding. All other items are earned or awarded during rides and events. You can change you avatars look (jerseys, headgear, glasses, gloves, socks and shoes) at any time before or during your ride/run. The item you currently have selected with show up with a highlighted box and green checkmark next to it. However, frames and wheels can only be changed when your avatar is at a complete stop. This means you should pick your choice of frame and wheels prior to beginning your ride or expect to stop completely during your ride to make a change of these two items. Some frames have a paint or color slider option available. This option to change paint or color will be available when you make your frame selection.

At this time, the garage does not have any sorting or searching features. Items like jerseys may be placed in a somewhat random or chronological order making finding a specific item difficult once you've acquired lots of them. There is no current method of removing items from your garage.
