Route Achievement Badge
Zwift has over 100+ defined cycling and running routes in its various worlds. When you complete a Zwift defined route for the first time, you will receive a route achievement badge on your achievements screen. You will also be awarded extra Experience Points (XP) which vary by difficulty level of the route. For a list of all the routes and their XP awards, see the Master Route List.
In order to receive a route achievement badge and extra XP, you must finish the route completely. This means that you don't stop until you see a 'Route Complete' banner flash on the screen. Some routes have 'lead-ins' which means the route doesn't start right away but starts at a given start point further down the road usually at a banner or marker. An example of this is the Lutscher route in Innsbruck. The route doesn't officially start until after a 10.9km lead-in at the top of the KOM. Similarly, some routes will have you start in the 'starting pen' but the finish is at a banner or marker passed the 'starting pen'.
As of March 2023, there are a total of 129 cycling route badges and 16 run route badges.
